College Works Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?

In one summer, College Works Painting brought accountability and leadership to the forefront of my business skills, and the lessons I learned still help drive my work as a professional today.

How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

College Works Painting helped me realize the importance of attention to detail, and most importantly, time management. That being said, the success of my career is dependent on the aforementioned factors.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?

The greatest lesson I learned from College Works Painting would have to be a tie between time management and rejection. Rejection helped me learn to evaluate why I did not succeed, so that I could change my approach in the future.

Advice

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?

There are many different roads to success, so avoid comparing yourself to others. The more time spent questioning yourself means more time for competitors to get ahead.

What’s your favorite memory from CW?

Being able to work with my brother and friends everyday.
