In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
College Works Painting was one of the hardest and most uncomfortable experiences, and because of it I have grown the most.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
Certain opportunities don’t seem as intimidating.
What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?
All of my clients were great. I learned a lot in the interactions with each of them and am very thankful to have had the experience.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
People buy you before they buy the product.
How have the friendships and networks you built during CW affected you?
The friendships and networks built during College Works Painting have been great. I have kept in touch with many of them and have a few even coming to my wedding.
If you had to come up with a one line slogan for CW, what would it be?
“Build yourself, while you build your business”

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
When you feel like quitting, remember why you started.
Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CW. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?
You get all around skills and experiences with College Works Painting that you can apply to any other industry you’re planning to enter.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
People are the key to any career choice. Learn how to work well with others.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Road trip from the Bay Area to So Cal with my peers.

Don’t be afraid to grow. Build yourself while you build your business.
