Amazing life experience
Yes. I gained significant amount of leadership and self confidence through my College Works Painting experience.
When working with people, identify win win situations. Also, find out what motivates them and use that to your advantage.
Don’t be afraid. You see something you want, go after it. Make sure you plan and plot first, then get the right coaching (district manager) and then just go for it. Don’t be afraid to fail. You probably will initially but keep at it and you’ll persevere. Lastly, until then, have enough resources to keep you afloat so that you never get to desperate throughout this experience.
If you’re not 100% sure you know what to do. Then do College Works Painting. The experience is very transferable to anything you do and will help you land that awesome internship/job.
Watching Lulu Deng paint. Or at least try to. It’s better than a comedy show. :)
What doesn’t break you builds character.
