What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?Earning a position as an RMI mountain guide The summit of Cho Oyu (6th highest mountain in the world) solo, without Sherpa support or the use of supplemental oxygen.

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
College Works Painting is an organization that taught me leadership, goal setting and to pursue without compromise.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
The progression of becoming a College Works Painting intern to completion gave me the foundation to pursue bigger personal goals. Whether promotion, selling myself to brands or magazine editors and just being confident to put yourself on the line, all these skills are helpful.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
Going into College Works Painting I wasn’t sure how I was going to run a 100k painting business. By the end of the year I had run a 170k in revenue. I’d say, I took away the confidence to go for what I want, knowing that I could figure it out along the way.
Advice
What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Keep an open mind. Listen to your district manager. Don’t paint instead learn to delegate. Delegating will expand the potential of your revenue, there is only so much you can do in one day, so leverage your time by using other people’s time.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Unless it’s what you’re passionate about don’t even bother, its a total lifestyle.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Cancun and winning intern of the year… which was in Cancun.
