In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
Interning at College Works Painting as a Civil Engineer educated and trained me with excellent business skills I would not have been able you obtain through the school of engineering. My College Works Painting experience has given me the skills, such as networking, marketing, sales, and management that I will be able to use throughout my career. Thanks to College Works Painting I possess not only the technical engineering skills, but now the skills to manage, develop, and lead a business. I will recommend College Works Painting to anyone who has the endurance and motivation to achieve their career goals and who looks for their next challenge.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
College Works Painting me an excellent job with a good salary and with a good location in San Diego.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
To always have self-confidence and to never quit.

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Never take no as an answer. Use it as motivation. Never fall into the stage of complacency, always continue to strive to be better.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
My first couple of months at College Works Painting did not start so well and I was very close to quitting. Instead of quitting and with the help of College Works Painting, I learned the true meaning of perseverance. College Works taught me the importance of always knowing what your goals are and your plan of how you were going to achieve them. With self-confidence and resiliency anything is possible if you set your mind to it.
