In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
College Works Painting was a great opportunity to meet outstanding young professionals and learn a lot about the challenges and rewards of running your own business.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
Without question, my experience led to an internship which resulted in a full time roll with Allstate Insurance. The experience at College Works Painting is really unlike any other internship out there at the time.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
The rewards you get out of your career are directly proportional to what you put into it.
Advice
What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Work closely with your DM and VP whenever possible. Take their advice and then make your decision. These guys and girls are there to do nothing but help you to become successful and have the best summer of your life.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Other than the Cancun trip, I would have to say the trip up to Windsor.
Last words of wisdom?
If you are a student that is working hard on gaining an internship, give College Works Painting a very serious thought. You will work very hard, but you will have more fun than you can believe and learn more than you can in most other internships offered.
