College Works Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?

College Works Painting allowed me to get a great job out of college which lead to me getting my dream career.

How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

My College Works Painting experience was what separated me from the thousands of other business students looking at the same jobs. Before graduating I had 3 job offers to choose from. It taught me to set goals and how to achieve.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

My favorite client was my first finished job. They were patient and understanding, even when we made mistakes. And we completely took care of them.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?

How to set goals and be accountable to them.

Don’t give up. It will be the best thing you ever do for your career.

What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

You will learn more about yourself and what your best attributes are in one go around with College Works Painting than four summers worth of normal corporate internships.

What’s your favorite memory from CW?

My first 2 weeks of production and making a sale on my first sales call.

Last words of wisdom?

College Works Painting was the hardest experience of my life. Through the challenges I learned how to attack the business world and be successful at whatever I want to do. I’ve said it in every interview, it was the most rewarding two years of my life.
