In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?

College Works Painting has taught me at a very early age in my career the benefits of entrepreneurship and what it takes to be successful at it.

How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

I used College Works Painting connections to get some applications to the right people and it was one of the less relevant experiences I spoke about from my resume, though I hope to move into a field where my College Works Painting experience is more relevant.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

My favorite client was a 60-something U of I grad living in beautiful Glen Ellyn.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?

You can do anything. I have yet to decide whether that is a good mentality to have, but I came out of the experience thinking I can do anything.

How have the friendships and networks you built during CW affected you?

Great business connections, especially if you weren’t in the business school.

If you had to come up with a one line slogan for CW, what would it be?

Work hard, play hard is pretty spot on. I think Make your own career is fitting too; it poses the internship more as a career stepping stone and highlights College Works Painting’s concern for its interns’ futures.
