How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
College Works Painting allowed me to open up and run my own business during my career in college. After graduation I was able to get into a Fortune 500 company thanks to College Works Painting fostering and developing my business acumen from a young age.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
Communication is everything.

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Stick with College Works Painting, hard work really does pay off. Although it is a lot of blood, sweat and tears, they build you into a better person.
Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CW. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?
Do College Works Painting. All the skills you learn in College Works Painting are applicable to literally every industry. It shows your persistence, your ability to go beyond your comfort zone and speaks volumes to your character. Anyone can get an internship in a target industry based on their college major, but not everyone can stick with College Works Painting until the end.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Network your heart away and learn from every person who will take time to teach you.
