If you have what it takes to succeed in the College Works Painting program, you WILL be successful in whichever career you chose afterwards.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
I was able to leverage my experience with College Works Painting, and more crucially my network, to obtain my first and current job following graduation.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
If you can be comfortable being uncomfortable, it’s a downhill battle.
Advice
What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
The selection process for the College Works Painting program is meant to be a two way street. I saw individuals fail because they did their best to seem like the best fit despite the fact that they weren’t. Those individuals would have realized early on, with a bit of honest inward reflection, that they either weren’t ready or it wasn’t a good fit. This program has been a critical launching point for some very successful people. For others it has been an exercise in futility. If you’re not the right fit, you’re not the right fit, and that’s okay. But if you are, buckle up. you will work harder than you can imagine and it will absolutely be worth it.
