College Works Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?

College Works Painting is the foundation to my professional career, as well as some of the most fun I’ve ever had.

How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

Now is immediately after graduation for me. College Works Painting opened many possibilities and gave me the confidence to pursue them.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

Just thank you for all of the trust you placed in me and I hope your houses still look as good as the day I painted them.

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?

Confidence is key in everything you do. If you don’t believe in yourself, how can you expect others to do so?

If you had to come up with a one line slogan for CW, what would it be?

Work Hard, Play Hard, Be the Best

Advice

Your motivation needs to come from within, College Works Painting can be the testing grounds that show you what you’re made of, but only if you have the drive to pursue it to the best of your abilities.

Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CW. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?

College Works Painting is not about an industry it is about a basic business tool-set that will serve you well in any field.

What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

For someone entering any industry the advice is simple: Carry yourself with confidence and do your job well. The rest will follow.

What’s your favorite memory from CW?

Watching a thunderstorm rolling in over the water sitting on the beach in Cancun with some fellow College Works Painting interns at 4am after getting back to the hotel. Reminiscing about how the tough times were all worth it.
