The ability to show my potential with tremendous adversity against me, but all in all running a successful business that was top in the nation.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
Everything else you do you are more prepared than your peers for whatever hits you.
What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?
I would like to say to all my clients, thank you for giving me the opportunity to be successful in the internship giving me this experience when I was a intern in 2018. It was all because of you that I am now on the road to success for my future.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
Success does not come to the ones that work the hardest, it comes to the ones that work the hardest for the longest.
How have the friendships and networks you built during CW affected you?
Tons of friendships at Cancun, payroll Fridays, war parties, etc. I hangout with people I interned with currently.
If you had to come up with a one line slogan for CW, what would it be?
College Works Painting is like a marathon. Don’t celebrate a mile in on where you’re at, start celebrating with that last half mile left.
Advice
What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Chase your goal and embrace the process no matter if you are behind or ahead. Keep pushing because if you don’t, you are giving up early and that will give you tons of what if’s in the future.
Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CW. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?
Do something that makes you different. The College Works Painting internship is a perfect match for management and will prepare you more than your peers.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Whatever you do during college, do something different that is going to make you standout to a company. I was pleased to have the management experience at such a young age compared to my peers only shadowing for internships in the summer and working a entry level job during the school year.

Just be great and work your tail off.
