• Managed sub-tenants working on new product development for the department of defense. • Development of proposals for capital acquisition, state funding, and federal funding. • Construction management and construction consulting for renovations and new manufacturing parks. • Proposal writing experience for national site search selections, state legislative and NASA funding, and federal grant funding opportunities.
What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?Met a former power lifter at work that helped me lose 100+ lb and helped get me started in power-lifting which I now compete in.

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
Before College Works Painting I thought I knew what hard work was, and i was very wrong, College Works Painting helped me unlock my true potential.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
I never finished my degree, I was hired before I could finish. I always knew I wanted to work for Boeing, and I thought I wanted to be an engineer. after working as hard as I did at College Works Painting I took 32 credit hours per term and worked a part time job so I could study machining and drafting. Boeing was impressed with my work ethic and how fast I could learn and grow.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
You either have to work smarter or harder if you want to succeed in life.

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Even if you hate aspects of being a College Works Painting manager or you don’t make hardly any money… do it, the skills and life lessons you take with you are incredibly valuable and will help you reach your goals, whatever they may be.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Never try and work for your boss. Work for your customers.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Working with some amazing clients who truly appreciated the hard work we put into their homes.
