Hard work and dedication pays off.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
My experience with College Works Painting assisted with the interview process coming out of undergrad – provided me with responses to just about every behavioral type question. Time & Stress management have been my biggest takeaways that I continue to utilize.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
Don’t only plan for what needs to happen, but also what you don’t want to happen. Things always go wrong, so being prepared for that ahead of time is a huge benefit.

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
For potential College Works Painting participants: know what you’re getting into/fully set your expectations. This program is a test of your own ambition, and you get out what you put in. For Current College Works Painting participants: Utilize your fellow branch managers and your district manager. They are going through or already have gone through the same situations you’re going through. Everyone is there to help one another.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Be open to learning new things and taking on projects outside of what is strictly required.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
My first finished job.

Have fun, and make some money.
