How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
Initially, College Works Painting added a very unique experience to my resume and allowed me to provide solid evidence that I am the candidate they are seeking. Almost any interview question can be answered with a story from my College Works Painting experience. College Works Painting continues to stand as a reference point that encourages me to take on challenges that would otherwise seem out of reach.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
As long as I plan to fully dedicate myself and carry a project through its completion, it does not matter how intimidating the assignment is.
Advice
What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Set goals at the very beginning for what you personally want to take away from the program and strive for them. Reevaluate those goals throughout the process to ensure you are still on course to achieve them. For me, financial performance was low on my priority list. There are many more important lessons to learn, and the ones that stick with you the most are inevitably from the experiences that are most disastrous.
