Brief Description of Duties / Responsibilities:
While working at Goldman I have led our division’s feedback and promotion cycles and have assisted in compensation analysis and firm mobility and diversity initiatives. I love the duality of my role: some days I’m getting absorbed in excel files and other days I am coordinating with managers to drive their people strategy goals forward. My top goals are to use my skills and knowledge to give managers insight into their workforce, support people processes, and guide business decisions.

How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
I am more willing to take opportunities that I may not have felt confident enough to take before.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
1. Hard work alone will not get you to where you want to be. In the end you either have the right skills or you don’t. 2. Those who succeed do not get there because they had an easy time, but rather they pushed through the hard times.

Treat this as a once-in-a-lifetime experience and it will be.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Don’t be afraid to try out an idea. Keep shooting until you make it.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Payrolls were always fun. I think my favorite was Paddle boarding at Hermosa Beach (a seal swam right under me!), after that we went to a Dodgers game.
