I specialize in helping Commercial and Enterprise companies optimize their Facilities Management processes. With over 10+ years in sales, I thrive on building relationships and delivering solutions that make a real difference.
I reflect upon the lessons I learned at College Works Painting all the time. For my current career path of course, but even more so for my personal goals and life. It keeps me on track and constantly improving in all categories. “Success is balance in all things!”
I have never had a hard time choosing a job as a result of my experiemce. You are instantly attractive to many organizations. The hardest is choosing where to go!
Create your own luck. Plan your day, week, year. Set goals and reach goals and hold yourself accountable for your own happiness and success.
I’ve stayed in close contact with several, but also had the chance to work with or provide jobs for others. When you see that someone is capable of extremely hard work, you gain a certain respect and trust for them… as a result, you always look out for each other!
What you do today is no isolated incident… success never happens over night. It is the result of a day by day effort. What you do today effects your happiness tomorrow or even next year.
College Works Painting applies to all fields. Skills like time management and confidence are imperative to success in all categories.
Set goals. Expand your horizons and knowledge of your craft every opportunity.
It was late at night after a long day and I had no leads… I gave myself a pep talk and said I could reasonably have 10 more conversations before it would be too late to knock any more.Unfortunately, I got nothing.I pushed and gave myself one last door to knock on.. they invitated me in and asked me to bid their house right there on the spot. I had never even bid on my own before! I had a great manager though, Sam Smith, and he walked me through over the phone… I came back in about 9PM, and they even offered me food while I discussed the proposal! They had planned on painting it themselves but we’re so impressed with my initiative that they signed on the spot. I gave them the standard 10% discount for signing immediately, and the husband left for a few minutes while the wife asked what I was studying and how the school year was going. We talked a long time before I had to go.The husband returned with the 10% I gave them in the form of cash, and insisted I take it to pay for my books that semester. I couldn’t believe it! I refused, but they insisted again and again.Great memories of my first sale… Just goes to show what trying “one more time” can do!
