Work with recruiting business partners to create offers for internal employees moving within the company. Develop employee programs for the North American network to promote internal movement and development.
What Has Been Your Proudest Accomplishment Post-CWP?Working at a large Seattle company out of college, and being able to move around within that company as a result of my successes.

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
College Works Painting provided me the experience and the confidence to go after my career goals and land my first job out of college.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
My time with College Works Painting provided me with so many experiences and real-life examples of what it’s like to work in the business world. I was able to go into interviews with confidence knowing I would have answers to their questions that would set me apart from anybody else that was interviewing.
What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?
Overall, I had great clients who were extremely understanding of the fact that I was a college student doing my first real job. I will forever be appreciative of how understanding they were and thankful for them giving me a chance to show what I had to offer.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
I learned the importance of building relationships with business partners and coworkers. Being able to earn trust of others is extremely important, and having those relationships and experiences from College Works Painting helped me develop that skill much sooner than I would have otherwise.
How have the friendships and networks you built during CW affected you?
I have maintained some fabulous relationships that started at College Works Painting. I will be attending the wedding of a College Works Painting colleague in the next year, and have gone on multiple trips with other College Works Painting friends both during and after our time at College Works Painting. I have made some of my greatest friends through College Works Painting!
If you had to come up with a one line slogan for CW, what would it be?
Work hard, play hard.
Advice
What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
For those considering College Works Painting, it is a fantastic experience, but you have to be willing to give it 100%. If you aren’t going to fully commit to the program, you won’t get the results you’re hoping for. For those who are current College Works Painting participants, keep it up! All of your hard work will pay off.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Your major doesn’t matter as much as you think it does – study what you enjoy in school and then pursue your career goals.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
When I was in the program, College Works Painting Washington went to Vancouver BC for a weekend and we had the most fantastic time! Not one specific event sticks out, but it was so much fun to spend time with all of my coworkers/friends, get late-night pizza downtown, and get excited about the next year at CWP.
Last words of wisdom?
College Works Painting rocks! I’m so glad I was able to be one of the first sub-program participants – especially seeing how much it has grown now! I’m proud to be part of the CWP family!
