At my previous position I was able to manage a team of 9 managers and analysts before, during and after the holidays on a very high profile fortune 500 company. It was madness, but even then it was still comparable to my experiences during College Works Painting and was manageable.

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
College Works Painting has helped create a sense of drive for me in my professional career. It instills a lot of pride to say that you’ve run your own business before and makes going into any interview easy.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
I keep in touch here and there with some old managers, I think it impacted me more personally than professionally.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
“Keep on keeping on” or to be more succinct, resiliency.

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Be persistent and be yourself, and everything else will be much easier.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Learn excel and be as aggressive as you can in your career growth.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Booking my first $10k+ job. And then the second.

Be yourself, nothing is more difficult than trying to be someone you’re not.
