Sydney Marx leverages intensive business training to manage sales, marketing, and operations in the Chippewa Valley this summer.

College Works Intern Training

Eau Claire native and UW-La Crosse student Sydney Marx has been named a branch manager for the College Works student professional program, where she will oversee marketing, sales, and operations this summer. In this role, she will manage real projects, work directly with homeowners, and gain hands-on experience running a small business in her local community.

Having grown up helping her father flip houses in the Chippewa Valley, Marx is leveraging her childhood passion for construction and community interaction to lead local renovation projects.

Supported by extensive leadership and business training through the College Works student professional program, she looks forward to returning to her hometown to build relationships with customers, serve homeowners throughout the Chippewa Valley, and gain hands-on business management experience that will prepare her for future leadership opportunities.
