As a painter for College Works, you can count on a full schedule of 40-hours of work per week. You will be working on residential painting projects of various sizes from home to home. The high-volume nature of this business model means plenty of variety, as you will be moving from one location to another every few days. Your training will include safety protocols which include and exceed current OSHA guidelines and EPA lead safety requirements. You will learn painting skills, safety procedures and finishing techniques at one of the company supplier locations as well as on the job as you work under the supervision of an experienced project manager.
You can expect to be given highly-specified directions for each project according to customer requests, and you will be equipped with top-of-the-line tools and materials. Communication with your manager shall take place throughout the project, day in and day out, from beginning to end.
