College Works Ohio

We used College Works to paint the full exterior of our home. Jack was superb in his professionalism. He explained the process and timeline and had open communication throughout the entirety of the project.

Olivia and her crew did a great job. My wife and I are very pleased with the work they did. Olivia is a great project manager. She was present throughout the entire project and kept in contact with my wife and I the entire time. She kept us informed on everything that was going on. The crew worked hard and did a wonderful job painting the rooms in our house. They did a great job cleaning up, as well. We are very happy with Olivia, her crew, College Works, and Sherwin Williams.

I had the wood trim and door painted on my porch/sun room. Olivia Immel and her team did a fabulous job from the initial sales call to final walk through. Highly recommend this company.

Morgan was a pleasure to work with on my house painting project. She was prompt, communicative & transparent when issues surfaced that complicated the painting project. She was friendly and accommodating, willing to return my house after the project was complete to touch up a few spots on my house. Morgan is a hard worker, which is difficult to find currently. I’m thankful for her hard work and dedication to my project.

Nicole Ratka and her team from Northeast Ohio were terrific! The estimate was fair & student painters were able to complete the interior and exterior work in 3 days with an add on bathroom. I support this program would hire again.

Morgan Lish worked tirelessly to make sure the job was done and done well. She had a few challenges, but never lost professionalism and strived to make sure the customer was pleased.

We hired College Works to paint the soffits, garage door, and trim around our front door. Sean was polite and communicative, but I think there is some serious lack of training around best practices for painting. Most edges were not neat, but sloppy, the trim around the door especially so. Despite having two coats on the soffit there are still areas where you can see the old color showing through. I am all for supporting college students, but the quality of work definitely was a step down from a professional painting company IMO. They also squashed some plants with their ladder that could have easily been avoided and left a giant puddle of paint in my flower bed.

Update: Sean reached out to me after my initial review and personally apologized and came out to correct the areas that needed some help. I appreciated his willingness to make things right and his dedication to improving! I am updating my rating.

Had a great experience and great results on my home in Hyde Park in Cincinnati. Phil Kristoff went the extra mile to make sure the color match and satin finish matched and blended well with the existing finish. Excellent communication throughout the job. His attention to detail was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Had the absolute BEST experience with Alex and his team at the Wolf Creek Retreat painting our Bridal Suite and Ceremony Arches. Alex and his team were professional timely thorough and friendly! We highly recommend them!

Had a great experience with College Works washing/staining my deck and taking care of a few other small painting tasks. Jack Walker did well at coordinating the project and communicating the schedule. The painters stayed late to get the job done in one day.
