In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?
It was life altering in the best way possible. Was the pay worth it? Maybe not, but at a young age the lessons learned were priceless.
How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?
It was crucial in landing my internship and that lead to the success I have in my current role.
What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?
I had 20 plus clients, the most memorable client was my least favorite, but she taught me about setting expectations. My favorite client gave me the confidence to pursue a sales career.
What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?
Winning energy results in winning.
How have the friendships and networks you built during CW affected you?
I did it during the covid pandemic and our trips were limited. That being said we had a ton of fun.
If you had to come up with a one line slogan for CW, what would it be?
Put down the brush, pick up the phone.
Advice
What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?
Ask yourself if you are a winner? If yes you don’t need this, go pursue a passion. If you can’t with 100% confidence answer yes, and you hate that… Do this program and go all out.
Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CW. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?
I did it going into my sophomore year, marketed College Works Painting as a leadership/sales internship. Worked out really well. Some of my friends who were juniors and seniors found success in their own right.
What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?
Be fearless.
What’s your favorite memory from CW?
Playing paintball and go cart racing.

Those who don’t try won’t fail… those who never fail never win.
