It only took them a few days to finish the job completely. We were replacing windows at the same time, and the painters worked well around the window installation. Ben E. and his crew did a beautiful job scraping and painting our 100+ year old house after it was hit with severe hail damage. Ben was transparent about how a bid is built using different calculations he fed into his College Works internal app that accounts for different parts of the house, height of area, condition. Ben and his team were excellent about cleanup and the paint job itself is fantastic. This is our 3rd time using College Works (2nd house) and I do believe they train these young people well and I know they have support from mentors to deal with challenges (such as rope anchoring strategy for a steep old house!) They are lead safe certified, which I care about, and used ropes and harnesses to stay safe up high. The paint they use is very good quality. Were it not for the severe hail, we would not yet be repainting from our last College Works paint job 14 years ago! Highly recommend and would use them again.

Paint job looks great!! It only took 3 days and was very reasonable in price compared to new siding. They even fixed some areas of wood rot as a bonus which was very nice! They were very professional and had great attention to detail. However we did discover a cracked window after the first day of painting but with no proof it didn’t really get anywhere. Also we don’t want to just blame them in case it was a fluke accident as it was an old window. I would just suggest taking good before pictures in case something gets damaged.

Great experience with the College Works team. Tyler followed up from the previous summer when we decided to complete a different home improvement project and stayed in contact as the painting proceeded this year. Parker and Jack were on scene the entire time with others joining in from other projects as thise projects ended. Everyone was personable, wanting to please, professional and careful with plantings. This crew spent considerably more time prepping (scraping, sanding) than the last painters (different company). Happy with the outcome!!

Recently, Dominic Simmons and his team completed an exterior paint job at my home. I am extremely impressed with their work and professionalism. Throughout the process, Dominic clearly communicated and managed expectations as far as his process and timeline. The painting proceeded as scheduled and was completed in the timeline promised. Every morning, Dominic and his team showed up and discussed the work that would be done that day as well as answered and asked any pertinent questions. I heard Dominic explain to his team members what they were to do that way and give them helpful tips. The work looks fantastic—I had the old exterior trim on my house and detached garage repainted in different colors. Dominic took great care with the prep work to ensure the new paint would go on smoothly and look great. My house feels like new after the paint refresh!
I highly recommend Dominic and his team—10/10! I have received numerous compliments on the work and referred Dominic to my next door neighbor and hair stylist for their future painting needs.

The painters were great! Courteous, hard working, detailed. They took care of landscaping/plants, liberal use of tarps and through masking kept things clean.
I was surprised to find them using very fine brushes to address tiny details, making sure it was done right – clearly details mattered to them.
