College Works Career Impact

In one sentence, what has CW meant to you?

College Works Painting mean breaking down the boundaries of my world and the real world.

How did your CW experience impact your career? Immediately after graduation? Now?

Absolutely, the hiring and management skills I learned help me tremendously in my day to day. Also the sales training is applicable to the psychology of how we conduct our tours and customer service.

What do you want to tell your clients about what it meant to work with them and how it has helped you get to where you are today?

Can’t recall at the moment

What was the greatest lesson you learned from your CW experience?

Opportunity is everywhere, your just need the eyes to see it.

Advice

What advice do you have for potential CW participants? Current CW participants?

Dive in head first and work your ass off, the payout is better in the end and you get to learn more from the experience.

Many college students struggle to choose between an internship specific to their target industry or doing CW. What advice would you give them on this subject if they wanted to enter your career field?

Put everything except the non-essentials like school and food on hold during your internship. Dive in head first and work your ass off, the payout is better in the end and you get to learn more from the experience.

What’s your best advice for someone interested in entering your career field?

Do both and stop being lazy, your have 4 years. That’s how you get a job after school. And don’t stop at 2.

What’s your favorite memory from CW?

When I went out marketing with my DM and he asked me why I was being business Evan and not the Evan he hired. First time I realized its much better to keep it real and be some fake salesman. Changed my perspective forever.

Last words of wisdom?

Flow like water, embrace failure, and keep a healthy dose of crazy.
